The football game in Houghton and the jerk hockey players.

The day NMU played Tech in football was a crazy day. My friend Cheyenne and I decided that we were going to take the hour and 45 minute drive to Houghton to support the team. We ended up going to my friend Casey’s dorm because she goes to school at tech. We fell asleep and almost missed the game because we never set an alarm to wake us up. Well we were in the line for a while for the tickets we found out that the price isn’t what we thought it was and we were like 5 dollars short. Our friend Justin came to the rescue and bought us our tickets. We then all went and sat on the NMU side, we never really sat down we were up and screaming most of the time. After the game of us losing by one point we were walking through the parking lot to get back to the dorms we ran into some hockey players. They then continued to be complete jerks and were talking crap about how we better get ready for them to win in hockey also. We then started walking away where we were called back to them only to have them call us baby and honey. To which we responded some not so nice things and started our way back to the dorm. On our way to the dorm we both decided that we weren’t just not too smart for Tech but we don’t want to have to climb those hills all the time.

The barns...

The last time I was afraid was during the barns at the Haunted Hayride. I went with four of my friends and had a great night at the Hayride. As we were going through the barns that are ran by Lake Superior Youth Theater we were all scared well the girls were all scared. Walking through the first barn was all okay, just a few jumps and screams, until I turned around and saw some of the actors following me and I freaked out. In the next barn I had the great joy, because of one of my asshole friends, to be in the very back of the five of us. This involved me being touched by the people in the barns. That was horrible. In the end it was all fun when I thought we were done we had to walk through the last part. It was pitch black and involved people hiding in the darkness whispering and talking in your ears. That was the worst part. I hid in my friend Cheyenne’s blanket. We stopped and I thought we were done with it but nope. I shouldn’t have opened my eyes because when I did I had a person inches from my face looking at me. I freaked out and hid in her blanket again until I knew we were for sure out of the barns.
