First Week

My first week in college has been full of very important information. Like…

• There is always time for a nap.
• Walmart is key especially on a $0 a week income.
• Dance class is fun (so far)
• Stray cats can be friends too. 
• And he is now named Fredrick.
• Jimmy johns #4 is the best thing at 1am
• Friends in college are keepers.
• Conversations around 12 am are very informative.
• True friends know where your dorm room is. Everyone else just knows what hall you’re in.
• Fuck off is used more often than hello.
• You lose friends but gain better ones.
• You are NOT invited to high school parties, and they don’t like it when you throw things at their house when they kick you out.
• You will always have that one friend who calls you at 4am for a ride because they have had too much to drink and need to sleep.
• Quiet hours from 8pm to 12pm suck when you are in a good mood but are also AMAZING when you need to study.
• Cops are amazing when you are going 15 over and they only give you a 5 over. THE BEST.
• Finding a job that has to deal with your major is harder than it seems.
• Balancing Studying, Sleep, Class, and Family is harder than it seems. Really.
• Some professors are awesome and some are the ones who used to be friends with your parents and hate your family.
•  CatCash is going to be gone before you know it… because Melted and peanut butter milkshakes are amazing.
• The world you knew in high school all changes to you being responsible for yourself and making sure your bills are payed and gas in the tank of your car.
