My Best Friend

I started cheering in 7^th grade for my middle school basketball team. I enjoyed the fact that I didn’t live in a big school so I had the chance to make the team. I tried my hardest and practiced A LOT and eventually made the team. At our first practice we went around in a circle and told everyone our name and a weird fact about us. Well it got to being my turn and this is what I said “Hi, I’m Sammy and when I was younger I had pet hamsters.”  I paused for a second and everyone looked at me. Then I continued “And the mom killed the dad, ate one of the babies and eventually broke out of her cage and ran away with the other 3 babies. Only later to be found by my mom in the furnace a couple of months later.” Everyone looks at me and I started laughing so did everyone else. That was how I made new friend that I would keep forever. Justice Rose Holm. She has been by my side for the 6 years we have known each other. In middle school we would sleep over at her house and cause trouble by going to the high school games and mess around. In high school she started dating Johnnie and they were together all the time. I would hang out with them both and watch movies and play board games. We got a lot closer the summer of our senior year. We worked at the same place and made jokes about a guy we worked with. We were always together. Between going to dinner after work or even Walmart. It was the end of the summer/beginning of the school year when we found out about Adilynn Sue my god daughter.
